The following terms and conditions govern the use of the website singlesbar.net and the services offered by Single's Bar, located in Santo Tomás de Castilla, Puerto Barrios, Izabal, Guatemala. By accessing our website or visiting our venue, you agree to comply with these terms in full. We recommend reading them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Single's Bar's website, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions of use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we ask you not to use our site. Continued use of the site after changes to these terms are published constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Acceptable Use of the Website

This website is for informational purposes about Single's Bar, including our drink menu, events, location, and services. You agree to:

  • Use the site lawfully, ethically, and in accordance with the laws of Guatemala
  • Not attempt to access restricted areas of the site or its servers
  • Not interfere with the normal operation of the website
  • Provide truthful and accurate information when making reservations or contacting us

3. Age Restriction

Single's Bar is a venue exclusively for adults 18 and over. We reserve the right to request official identification (DPI or passport) to verify the age of visitors at any time. Entry for minors is strictly prohibited, and each visitor is responsible for complying with this requirement. Website content related to alcoholic beverages is directed exclusively to adults. By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

4. Responsible Alcohol Consumption

Single's Bar promotes responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. We reserve the right to refuse service of alcoholic drinks to anyone showing signs of excessive intoxication. We strongly recommend not driving after consuming alcohol and using safe transport services. We are not responsible for customers' actions outside our premises after consuming alcoholic beverages. Excessive alcohol consumption is harmful to health.

5. Reservations

Table and space reservations are subject to the following conditions:

  • Availability of space on the requested date and time
  • Confirmation by the venue via WhatsApp or phone
  • Cancellation at least 2 hours in advance so the table can be offered to other guests
  • Punctual arrival with a maximum tolerance of 15 minutes; after that time, the reservation may be released without notice
  • Reservations for special events or large groups may require a deposit or minimum spend, which will be communicated at the time of booking
  • Single's Bar reserves the right to reassign tables according to venue capacity

6. Code of Conduct in the Venue

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all our customers, we expect that:

  • You treat staff, DJs, and other customers with respect and courtesy
  • Aggressive or violent behavior, or behavior that endangers others, is not permitted
  • Responsible alcohol consumption is mandatory; we reserve the right to refuse service
  • You follow venue rules, including instructions from security staff
  • Entry or consumption of illegal substances inside the venue is not permitted
  • Bringing outside food or drinks is not permitted
  • Any damage caused to the venue's facilities, furniture, or equipment is the customer's responsibility

Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate removal from the venue without any right to a refund, and in serious cases, a ban on future entry.

7. Events and Changes

Single's Bar reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel scheduled events without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, technical issues, force majeure, or security situations. In the event of cancellation of an event for which an entry fee or special reservation was charged, a refund or the option to attend an equivalent future event will be offered. DJ schedules and special events published on the website and social media are approximate and may vary.

8. Social Media Content and Photography

By visiting Single's Bar, you agree that our staff or authorized photographers may take photos and videos of the general atmosphere of the venue that could include your image. These images may be used on our social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), website, and promotional material. If you do not want to appear in photos or videos, please let the staff know at the time of your visit. If you identify a photo of yourself on our social media and want it removed, contact us and we will remove it within a reasonable period.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to logos, the "Single's Bar" brand, images, photographs, texts, graphic design, icons, videos, and source code, is the exclusive property of Single's Bar and is protected by Guatemalan intellectual property laws and applicable international treaties. Reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any site content without prior written authorization from Single's Bar is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

Single's Bar is not responsible for: direct or indirect damages that may result from the use of this website or the information it contains; the loss or theft of personal belongings inside the venue; injuries or damages caused by other customers' behavior; temporary interruption of website service due to maintenance or technical causes; or the content of third-party websites linked from our site. Menu prices published on the website are for reference and may change without notice. Current prices will be those available at the venue at the time of your visit.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately after being published on the site. It is the user's responsibility to review these terms periodically. The last updated date is indicated at the beginning of this document.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising in connection with these terms will be resolved in the competent courts of Puerto Barrios, department of Izabal, Guatemala, with the parties waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.
